THEIR MISSION
Surf Brigade’s mission
is to increase resilience across
the veterans population through
surf therapy and community building.
THE PROGRAM
Surf Brigade is a
6-week program that runs
twice a year, Spring and in the Fall.
Military veterans apply to participate anytime
by contacting Surf Brigade by going on their
website or through social media outlets
which can be found on the internet.
During the program, veterans are
assigned a Battle Buddy, whom they will
surf with, and are accountable to as they follow surf
instructions which leads to a therapeutic surf session
as a team. All surf equipment is provided by the
program at no cost to the veteran. Veterans are
expectped to complete the entire close
contact with their Battle Buddies,
and continue to navigating
challenges within the
community.
